In Odesa region, two servicemen of district territorial recruitment and social support centers were notified of suspicion in corruption cases. According to the investigation, for money they promised to help conscripts remove themselves from the search in the "Oberih" system.

This was reported by the National Police and the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.

Law enforcement officers note that both cases were uncovered from the beginning of September. According to the investigation, the servicemen offered, for a reward, to influence the resolution of issues related to military registration, in particular the removal of information about the presence of conscripts in the search.

The suspects were notified of suspicion. Law enforcement officers continue to establish all circumstances and check the possible involvement of other persons in the relevant schemes.

"Oberih" is the Unified State Register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists. It stores and updates military registration data, in particular the information used by the TCC and SP. The Ministry of Defense notes that actions of users with personal and official data are recorded in the system.

Corruption schemes around the removal of conscripts from the search law enforcement officers in Odesa region are exposing not for the first time.
