Russia attacked the Oleyina plant in Dnipro twice in one day, with casualties

On September 10, Russian troops attacked a food industry enterprise in Dnipro twice. City mayor Borys Filatov stated that it was the Oleyina plant, which belongs to the international agro-company Bunge with its global headquarters in the USA.

The first strike in the morning was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha. According to him, the attack damaged a food industry enterprise and caused a fire. At that time, there was no information about casualties.

Later, Russian troops attacked Dnipro again. According to the Regional Military Administration, the same enterprise that had been damaged in the previous strike was damaged again and a fire broke out.

As a result of the repeated attack, two people were killed and two others were injured. The Regional Military Administration did not specify whether the dead and injured were employees of the enterprise.

Filatov named the attacked enterprise

Dnipro city mayor Borys Filatov reported that the Russian attack hit the Oleyina plant. He specifically noted that the enterprise belongs to Bunge and called it American property.

Bunge produces sunflower oil in Ukraine under the Oleyina brand. On the company's official website, the Dnipro Oil Extraction Plant is listed among its production assets in Ukraine.

Bunge's global headquarters is located in the St. Louis area, Missouri. At the same time, legally Bunge Global SA has a registered office in Geneva, Switzerland. The company is one of the largest global players in oilseed processing, grain trading and vegetable oil production.

Thus, within a few hours, a Russian attack twice damaged one of the major food industry facilities in Dnipro.
