In Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast, civilian warehouse premises caught fire as a result of a Russian attack. During the firefighting, the Russians launched a second strike, but rescuers continued their work after assessing the danger.

The first reports of the fire appeared in the evening of September 10. Head of Kyiv Oblast Military Administration Timur Tkachenko reported that videos of a large-scale fire in Bucha district were being shared online and specified that the attack had caused a civilian warehouse to catch fire.

At that time, rescuers and other emergency services were already working at the scene. According to preliminary data from Kyiv OMA, there were no casualties in this strike.

Already on the morning of September 11, the SES reported that during the firefighting, Russian troops launched a second strike. Despite the danger, the emergency workers continued extinguishing the fire once it was possible to resume work.

As of the morning, the fire had been localized – the spread of fire was stopped. Full elimination of the consequences of the attack is ongoing.

The SES did not specify the area of the fire or the extent of damage to the warehouse premises. Also, no casualties from the second strike have been reported so far.
