In Russia, refineries and Ozon logistics center burned after night attacks
On the night of September 11, fires broke out at the Rosneft oil refinery in Saratov and at the Ozon marketplace's logistics center. The company has already warned of partial restrictions on its operations in the region. In Volgograd, as a result of another night attack, damage was recorded on the territory of an industrial enterprise.
The most confirmed consequences for business were recorded in Saratov. Around 2 a.m., Saratov Oblast governor Roman Busargin reported a threat of drone attacks, after which local residents began publishing videos of explosions, air defense operations, and large fires.
The OSINT expert of the publication Astra determined from eyewitness footage that one of the fire hotspots is located on the territory of the Saratov Refinery. The enterprise is part of the Rosneft structure and is one of the oldest oil refineries in the Russian Federation.
At the same time, Astra separately emphasizes: at the time of publication, it was not definitively established what exactly was the immediate cause of the fire at the refinery. The plant has previously come under attack repeatedly - according to the publication's calculations, at least 16 times.
Ozon logistics center caught fire after the attack
Another major fire occurred at the Ozon logistics center in Saratov. Astra identified the facility based on videos from the scene, and sources told the publication that the fire started after a drone attack.
Employees of the center were promptly evacuated. Ozon itself confirmed the evacuation of staff and said that due to the consequences of the event, the company's operations in the Saratov region will be partially restricted in the near future.
The governor of Saratov Oblast confirmed damage to civilian infrastructure in the city as a result of the drone attack. According to preliminary data from local authorities, there were no injuries at the Ozon facility. Emergency services were working at the scene. On the morning of September 11, monitoring channels continued to post footage of the fire on the territory of the logistics complex.
Industrial enterprise damaged in Volgograd
Damage to production infrastructure was also recorded in Volgograd. The governor of Volgograd Oblast, Andrei Bocharov, announced an overnight rocket attack and reported that debris fell on the territory of an industrial enterprise in the south of the city.
Which specific enterprise was damaged and how serious the consequences are for its operation, Russian authorities have not yet clarified. Emergency services continued to clean up the aftermath and assess damages.
In addition to the industrial facility, according to the governor, an apartment building was damaged in Volgograd. Two men were hospitalized. The full scale of the attack's consequences in the region is still being clarified.
That same night, the monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported explosions and air defense activity also in Samara and Kaspiysk in Dagestan. However, at the time of writing, no reliably confirmed damage to enterprises or infrastructure facilities has been established there, so these reports require further confirmation.
