Trump says he does not regret decision to attack Iran
US President Donald Trump said he does not regret the decision to strike Iran and would do the same under similar circumstances. He claims that American strikes destroyed Tehran's nuclear capabilities, and Iran's missile industry suffered significant losses.
Trump said this on September 10 in an interview with Fox News program "The Ingraham Angle".
"If I had to do it again, I would do exactly the same", - said the American president, adding that he does not believe in "regret" regarding the decision made.
Trump said that the US allegedly eliminated Iran's nuclear capabilities. He explained the decision to strike by the risk that Tehran could obtain nuclear weapons and use them against Israel, other Middle Eastern countries, or the US.
