Retail fuel prices in Ukraine continued to rise rapidly after last week's sharp increase. As of September 14, the average price of A-95 gasoline rose to UAH 85.01/L, and diesel fuel - to UAH 95.94/L. Compared to Friday, diesel added another UAH 1.31/L, A-95 - UAH 1.05/L.

This is evidenced by the daily monitoring data of the Consulting Group "A-95".

The premium A-95+ gasoline rose the most compared to the previous quotation day: its average price increased by UAH 1.46/L - to UAH 88.88/L. A-92 added 90 kopecks/L and costs on average UAH 80.59/L.

Autogas remains significantly more stable than gasoline and diesel. Its average price increased by only 7 kopecks/L - to UAH 43.51/L.

Last week's increase has not stopped

The new increase continued the trend of the previous working week. As early as September 7, the average price of A-95 was UAH 82.22/L, and diesel - UAH 92.63/L. Thus, by September 14, A-95 gasoline had already risen by UAH 2.79/L, and diesel - by UAH 3.31/L.

For A-95+ the increase over this period is about UAH 2.89/L, for A-92 - UAH 1.95/L. Autogas over the same time added only about 10 kopecks/L.

At the same time, the growth rate of gasoline and diesel accelerated further at the end of last week. On Friday, A-95 added an average of 63 kopecks/L in one day, and diesel - 87 kopecks/L. After the weekend, the market continued moving in the same direction.

UKRNAFTA sharply raised A-95+, AMIC - diesel

Among the eight largest operators, the most significant changes occurred at UKRNAFTA, UPG, and AMIC.

UKRNAFTA raised A-95 by UAH 1/L - to UAH 82.90/L, and diesel immediately by UAH 2 - to UAH 93.90/L. The premium A-95+ changed the most: after a decrease at the end of last week, it immediately rose by UAH 4/L - to UAH 85.90/L.

UPG added UAH 2/L to A-95 and A-95+, which now cost UAH 86.90 and UAH 88.90/L respectively. Diesel in the network also rose by UAH 2 - on average to UAH 97.15/L.

AMIC raised both types of gasoline by about UAH 2/L, and diesel - immediately by UAH 3/L, to slightly more than UAH 97/L.

At SOCAR, gasolines remained unchanged, however diesel added UAH 1 and reached UAH 99.90/L - the highest figure among the top 8 operators.

OKKO and WOG, after actively revising prices last week, left the price lists unchanged this time. At "BRSM-Nafta" A-95 rose on average by about UAH 1.09/L, diesel - by UAH 1.05/L, and autogas - by 25 kopecks/L. KLO added UAH 1 to A-95 and diesel and 50 kopecks to A-95+.

Among smaller operators, there were even sharper revisions. "Avantage 7" raised A-95 by UAH 3/L, and diesel - immediately by UAH 4/L. EURO5, Green Wave, and VostokGaz added UAH 3 to A-95 and diesel each. The latter network also raised autogas by UAH 1/L.

Thus, after last week's acceleration of price growth, the retail market has not transitioned to stabilization. The main pressure continues to be on diesel and gasolines, while autogas remains relatively stable.
