The currency market has frozen awaiting NBU выход

On Tuesday, September 15, in the first half of the day on the interbank currency market, low-activity trading is observed in a narrow range of 44.65-44.685 UAH. Unlike yesterday, today there are no buyers willing to buy at any price.

Treasurers told the "Kurs Ukrainy" portal that many are waiting, hoping that around 1-2 p.m. the National Bank will enter the market and again arrange a sale, while lowering quotes below current levels.

The euro on the interbank currency market of Ukraine on Tuesday is trading in the range of 51.37-51.55 UAH on the 'bid' position. On the international currency market FOREX, the euro today fluctuates between the marks of 1.1527 and 1.1552 dollars; after yesterday's sharp drop, some stabilization of the euro price is observed.

Cash dollar price tags have risen by literally a few kopecks compared to yesterday. Today at noon, wholesale exchange points in Kyiv are selling the dollar at 44.77 UAH. In Cherkasy, the dollar is sold at 44.80 UAH, in Odessa, Kropyvnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia – at 44.85 UAH, in Poltava – at 44.90 UAH.

Ukrainian banks by 12:30 are selling the dollar at prices from 44.78 UAH in Trust Capital Bank to 45.15 UAH in Zaporizhzhia Metabank. As for the euro, at the moment it can be purchased cheapest at 51.78 UAH in Creditwest Bank.

Oil prices have stopped rising. The price of the most popular Brent brand today fluctuates between $106.24 – 108.40 per barrel – at the same level as yesterday.

On crypto exchanges, prices for major cryptocurrencies are again feverish. Thus, bitcoin (BTC) on the most popular crypto exchange Binance today dropped to $76,703.6 per coin, and ethereum (ETH) – to $2,465.60 per coin. Currently, bitcoin is selling at $76,910-76,950 per coin, and ethereum - at $2,472-2,478 per coin.
