Warehouse catches fire in Kyiv after drone attack, one injured

In the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv on the morning of September 16, a warehouse building caught fire as a result of a Russian attack. One person was injured due to falling debris from a drone on the warehouse premises.

The fire was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration. Emergency services are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko clarified that drone debris fell on warehouse premises early in the morning. One injured person was hospitalized by medics.

Local Telegram channels are publishing videos of the attack's aftermath. The footage shows a significant column of black smoke over the fire site.

Local channels, citing monitoring services, also reported a deterioration in air quality on the right bank of Kyiv amid the large-scale fire. At the time of publication, there was no official statement from city authorities about the level of air pollution after this fire.

At night and in the morning, air raid alerts were announced several times in Kyiv due to the threat of Russian drones.
