Attack on Kyiv damaged warehouses and an office, debris fell near a gas station

In Kyiv, as a result of the Russian night attack on September 17, warehouse premises were damaged in at least three districts of the city, as well as an office building and other non-residential buildings. Debris also fell near a gas station.

In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell in several locations. According to city authorities, warehouse premises and a three-story office building were damaged - its facade and glazing were affected. In another location, debris fell near a gas station.

In the Solomianskyi district, according to preliminary information from Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a warehouse building was destroyed. There was no fire at the facility at the time of the report.

Already in the morning, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported another hit on a warehouse building - this time in the Podilskyi district. Emergency services were dispatched to the site.

In addition, in the Sviatoshynskyi district, a hit on a non-residential building was recorded. In the Dniprovskyi district, a residential building was damaged, and windows were broken in several other buildings.

During the attack, problems with water supply also arose in the capital: the pressure of water supply to the left bank, as well as to the Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts, was reduced. Klitschko reported that specialists had begun to restore pressure. The cause of the water supply problems was being investigated by city authorities at that time.

As of the morning, 12 people are known to have been injured as a result of the attack, including two children aged 10 and 12. Nine injured are in hospitals.
