Diesel at major gas station chains slowed approaching UAH 100, gasoline continued to rise
Retail fuel prices in Ukraine on September 17 continued to rise, but diesel, after rapidly approaching the psychological mark of UAH 100/l, noticeably slowed its pace. The average price of diesel fuel rose by 32 kopecks per day — to UAH 98.24/l, while A-95 gasoline rose by another UAH 1.07 — to UAH 88.32/l.
This is evidenced by the daily monitoring data of the "A-95" Consulting Group.
Premium A-95+ gasoline rose the most among the main fuel types this time: its average price increased by UAH 1.25/l — to UAH 92.41/l. Regular A-95 added UAH 1.07, while A-92 rose by only 12 kopecks.
Diesel rose to UAH 98.24/l, meaning it is UAH 1.76 away from the UAH 100 mark. Autogas on average rose by 16 kopecks — to UAH 44.06/l.

WOG sharply raised gasoline, while UKRNAFTA reduced diesel
Among the eight largest operators, WOG reviewed gasoline prices the most. The average price of A-95 and A-95+ in the network rose by UAH 3/l over a day — to UAH 92.90 and UAH 95.90/l respectively. These are the highest figures among the top 8.
AMIC raised both types of gasoline by UAH 2/l: A-95 — to UAH 88.90, A-95+ — to UAH 91.90. At SOCAR, regular A-95 also added UAH 2 and costs UAH 91.90/l, while premium rose by a hryvnia, to UAH 94.90/l.
OKKO and UPG raised A-95 and A-95+ by a hryvnia. At KLO, regular gasoline rose by a hryvnia, while premium jumped by UAH 2/l.
On the diesel market, changes were much more moderate. OKKO added 40 kopecks and raised the average diesel price to UAH 99.90/l. Thus, four major networks — OKKO, WOG, UPG and SOCAR — are now at this level.
KLO raised diesel by 60 kopecks — to UAH 99.40/l, AMIC — by about 89 kopecks, to UAH 98.90/l. "BRSM-Nafta" added on average 59 kopecks — to UAH 95.54/l.

Meanwhile, UKRNAFTA went against the general trend: the average diesel price in the network dropped by a hryvnia — from UAH 96.90 to UAH 95.90/l. The operator did not change gasoline and autogas prices during the day.
Among the top 8, "BRSM-Nafta" continues to offer the cheapest A-95, diesel and autogas — on average UAH 84.58, UAH 95.54 and UAH 42.54/l respectively. Meanwhile, UKRNAFTA prices remain close: A-95 costs UAH 84.90/l, diesel — UAH 95.90/l, autogas — UAH 42.90/l.
Prices at Neftek rose by UAH 2-3 at once
Beyond the top 8, the most noticeable comprehensive price revision occurred at Neftek. The network raised A-92, A-95 and A-95+ by UAH 3/l at once — to UAH 85.99, UAH 90.99 and UAH 93.99/l respectively. Diesel rose by UAH 2 — to UAH 99.99/l, while autogas — by UAH 1.51, to UAH 45.50/l.
At Marshal, A-95 and A-95+ gasoline, as well as diesel, rose by about UAH 2/l. Ovis raised A-92, A-95 and A-95+ by UAH 2, while diesel — by UAH 1.40/l.
Thus, on September 17, the main price movement shifted toward gasoline: average A-95 continued to rise by more than a hryvnia per day, and A-95+ accelerated its growth. Meanwhile, diesel, which in major networks is already nearly at UAH 100/l, this time added on average only 32 kopecks.
