Eight officials of the Territorial Recruitment Centers are suspected of artificially inflating mobilization indicators via Oberig

In Ukraine, eight current and former officials of the territorial recruitment and social support centers have been notified of suspicion for entering false data into the Oberig system. According to the investigation, four criminal proceedings involve at least 276 fictitious records about military-liable persons.

The Prosecutor General's Office announced this within the "Reverse Side of the TCC and MEC" program. The suspicions were announced to officials on September 10-11.

According to the investigation, the officials used their official access to the Oberig information and communication system and their own qualified electronic signatures to change the accounting data of military-liable persons.

In particular, information about the alleged registration of citizens for military service, their conscription, and referral to military units was entered into the system, although this did not actually happen.

The PGO noted that among the people indicated in the system as mobilized were active military personnel, persons who had voluntarily left military units, those missing in action, and those killed.

In other cases, citizens did not arrive at the TCC at all, did not undergo a military-medical commission, were not enrolled in military units, and were not actually mobilized.

The investigation found the largest number of such records in Lviv and Uzhhorod – at least 239. In this episode, the acting head and two former heads of the TCC and SP are suspected.

According to the prosecutor's office, they entered false information about the registration of people for military service and their mobilization, which actually allowed artificially increasing statistical indicators of the conducted mobilization.

In Vinnytsia region, a former head of one of the territorial recruitment centers is suspected of entering false data about five citizens. In Oberig, they were marked as sent to military service, although they were not actually enrolled in military units.

In Luhansk region, three former heads of district TCC and SP, according to the investigation, entered false information about 28 military-liable persons. Some of these people were already undergoing military service, and one person had the status of missing in action under special circumstances.

In one of the episodes, the change of data in the system, according to the prosecutor's office, was used not to inflate statistics, but to conceal a military-liable person from conscription after the end of his reservation period.

In Chernihiv region, the head of one of the TCC and SP is suspected of entering false information about four military-liable persons. In the system, they were listed as conscripted and sent to a combat military unit, although they did not actually serve there.

The actions of the suspects, depending on the specific episodes, were qualified under articles on unauthorized change of information in automated systems by persons having the right of access to them, and official forgery.

The Prosecutor General's Office emphasized that according to the Constitution, suspects are considered innocent until their guilt is proven by a court conviction.
