Russia attacked enterprises and critical infrastructure in two regions
On the night of September 22, Russian troops launched massive attacks on industrial enterprises and infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions. Targets in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Pavlohrad, and Kremenchuk district came under attack.
According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanhza, the Russians simultaneously attacked industrial enterprises in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad. Fires broke out at the impact sites.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the use of ballistic weapons during the night. The missile strike on Kryvyi Rih was also confirmed by the head of the city's Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul. According to him, after the ballistic missiles, Russian troops continued the attack with cruise missiles.
In Dnipro, an enterprise was damaged as a result of the strike. According to preliminary information from the regional authorities, people may have still been under the rubble, so a search and rescue operation continued at the site. Damage to warehouse premises and the enterprise was also reported.
As a result of the attack on Dnipro, two people were killed, and six others were injured. A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition. Men aged 35, 46, and 47, and a 51-year-old woman were taken to hospital in moderate condition. Another man, 57, will be treated on an outpatient basis.
Poltava region also suffered a massive attack that same night. According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Diakivnych, in Kremenchuk district, the Russians attacked an industrial enterprise and a critical infrastructure facility.
In Poltava district, a Russian drone fell on the territory of a private agricultural enterprise. As a result, farm buildings and equipment were damaged. According to regional authorities, there were no casualties in Kremenchuk and Poltava districts.
