Warehouse premises caught fire in Kyiv after Russian attack

In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv on the morning of September 22, after a Russian attack, a fire broke out on the territory of a warehouse. The fire was extinguished by rescuers.

Initially, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported a warehouse building fire caused by falling debris. Mayor Vitali Klitschko later said that the fire in the warehouse premises was extinguished.

The State Emergency Service clarified that pallets with ceramic tiles that were on the open territory were burning. The fire area was about 100 sq. m. There are no fatalities or injuries at this address.

Other consequences of the night attack were recorded in residential areas. In the Dniprovskyi district, the facade of a five-story building was damaged, destruction occurred on the first floor, and a fire broke out in the basement. Residents of apartments on the first through fifth floors were evacuated.

Four people were injured as a result of the strike. According to the State Emergency Service, three of them were hospitalized. In the Darnytskyi district, debris also fell on the territory of a private residential house.
