Putin transferred profitable US Aptar plant to management of a structure linked to Kadyrov's relative

Russian President Vladimir Putin transferred the Russian plant of American packaging manufacturer Aptar to "temporary management" by company "H&N", which operates under the brand "Logika Moloka" and is headed by the nephew of Ramzan Kadyrov, Yakub Zakriev. The enterprise is profitable: in 2025 it received 537 million rubles of net profit.

According to the decree, 100% of the shares of LLC "Aptar Vladimir", owned by Aptar Europe Holding, came under external management. The decision came into force on the day of its publication.

AptarGroup is an American multinational corporation that produces dosing, packaging and product delivery systems for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, perfumes, household chemicals and other industries. In AptarGroup's reporting, Russian "Aptar Vladimir" is listed among its wholly owned subsidiaries.

Aptar's Russian business demonstrated stable financial indicators. At the end of 2025, "Aptar Vladimir" revenue was about 1.75 billion rubles, almost unchanged compared to the previous year. Net profit grew by about 7% - to 537 million rubles.

JSC "H&N", which currently uses the brand "Logika Moloka", has been appointed as temporary manager. This is the former Russian business of French Danone.

The company is headed by Yakub Zakriev, the nephew of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. He became the head of Danone's Russian business after its assets were also transferred under "temporary management" in 2023. Currently, "Logika Moloka" itself confirms Zakriev as its general director.

At the same time, transfer to "temporary management" does not formally mean a change of ownership. The Russian mechanism allows the appointed structure to exercise the owner's powers to manage the enterprise, but does not give it the right to dispose of the transferred property at its own discretion.

Moscow introduced this mechanism in April 2023 regarding the assets of companies from so-called "unfriendly states". Since then, a number of large Western companies have fallen under external management.

Just on September 17, Putin transferred to another temporary manager the main Russian assets of French Auchan and "Lemana PRO", Swiss Nestlé, and logistics FM Logistic. The Kremlin explained such decisions by the connection of these companies with countries that Russia classifies as "unfriendly".

Thus, the Aptar plant became another profitable asset of a Western company that the Russian authorities transferred to the management of a structure appointed by them.
