"Interpipe" halts production after ballistic strike on Dnipro

Ukrainian industrial company "Interpipe" stopped production at one of its enterprises in Dnipro after a Russian ballistic strike on the night of September 22. Four company employees were killed and seven others were injured in the attack.

This was reported by INTERPIPE. According to the company, the strike damaged the main production equipment and infrastructure of the enterprise, halting output. Specialists are assessing the scale of damage and recovery timelines and carrying out emergency repair works. 

Earlier, regional authorities reported a strike on industrial enterprises of Dnipropetrovsk region. On the night of September 22, Russian troops simultaneously attacked enterprises in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad. In the morning, OVA head Oleksandr Ganzha reported two dead and six injured in Dnipro, but people continued to be searched under the rubble. Later the death toll rose to four. According to the OVA, rescuers recovered the body of the fourth victim from under the rubble of the enterprise.

INTERPIPE later clarified that all four killed were employees of the company, and the number of injured is seven. The company stated that it is providing assistance to the victims and supporting the families of the dead.

The Russian Ministry of Defense, for its part, directly named the "Interpipe Steel" plant in Dnipro among the targets of the night's massive strike. The Russian agency claims that the enterprise allegedly supplied metal products for the production of drone components. There is no independent confirmation of this claim. "Interpipe" itself calls the attacked enterprise civilian and in the published statement does not specify the name of the specific production site.

"Interpipe" produces steel pipes and railway products and supplies them to more than 50 countries. In 2025, the company sold 470 thousand tons of pipe products and 89 thousand tons of railway products. The group's staff is about 9.5 thousand employees. Last year, the company transferred 5.566 billion UAH in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels.
