In Kyiv, after an attack, warehouses are destroyed and medical facilities damaged

In Kyiv, as a result of the Russian attack on the night of September 24, warehouse buildings are partially destroyed, and an administrative building, medical facilities, and other civilian infrastructure objects are damaged. Fires broke out in several districts of the capital.

The greatest damage to non-residential objects was recorded in Solomianskyi district. There, warehouse buildings are partially destroyed, after which a fire broke out. The fire spread to basement premises. Rescuers extinguished the blaze. Three injured were hospitalized.

In Podilskyi district, debris fell near a maternity hospital. Four cars caught fire in a parking lot. According to mayor Vitali Klitschko, in the maternity hospital itself, windows and part of the facade are damaged, and a clinical diagnostic center nearby also suffered damage. Preliminary, no patients and staff of the maternity hospital were injured.

At another address in Podilskyi district, a one-story non-residential building burned. The fire was also extinguished.

In Dniprovskyi district, a three-story administrative building was damaged. At other addresses, debris fell on the territory of private households: one house was destroyed, and two neighboring houses were damaged. Rescuers saved one person.

In Darnytskyi district, a missile fragment fell on the roadway.

According to the latest data from the State Emergency Service (DSNS), as a result of the night attack on Kyiv, two people were killed and at least eight injured. Rescuers extinguished the fires at the main locations, and relevant services continue to work at the impact sites.
