On Thursday, September 24, the non-cash dollar quotes on the interbank foreign exchange market reached 45.00 UAH on the bid, while the offer rose above this psychological level.

The National Bank continues to conduct intensive currency interventions, but demand for non-cash currency is so high that its efforts are clearly insufficient. Moreover, exporters, seeing the continuous rise in quotes, have suspended sales of foreign exchange earnings in hopes of selling at even higher prices.

On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, the euro on Thursday is trading in the range of 51.13–51.23 UAH on the bid—almost at yesterday's level. On the international FOREX market, the euro continues to fall and by the time of writing has dropped to 1.13617 dollars.

Cash dollar rates also continue to rise following the non-cash: if yesterday at lunchtime wholesale exchange offices in Kyiv sold the dollar at 44.90 UAH, today—already at 44.95 UAH. At the same time, in regional centers and large cities the dollar is already sold at 45 UAH and above. Meanwhile, cash market operators report no demand for cash currency and admit that they simply raise rates following the interbank growth.

By 13:30, Ukrainian banks sell the dollar at prices ranging from 44.97 UAH in the Kyiv branch of Sky Bank to 45.45 UAH in Zaporizhzhia Metabank. As for the euro, at the moment it can be purchased cheapest at 51.40 UAH in Commercial Industrial Bank.

Oil prices went up again after six days of decline. The price of the popular Brent crude reached $100.82 per barrel today and by the time of writing is trading in the range of $99.17–99.32 per barrel.

On cryptocurrency exchanges, the decline in prices of major cryptocurrencies accelerated. Thus, bitcoin (BTC) on the popular Binance exchange fell today to $82,874.93 per coin, while ethereum (ETH) to $2,600.15 per coin. Currently, bitcoin is sold at $83,500–83,550 per coin, and ethereum at $2,640–2,650 per coin.
