As a result of the massive Russian attack on August 5, the logistics center of the NOVUS chain and two distribution centers of "Silpo" were damaged. Six Silpo employees were killed, information on the number of casualties is being clarified.

NOVUS reported several direct missile hits on the company's logistics center. The facility suffered extensive damage and completely ceased operations. During the air raid alert, the team was in a shelter, so there are no fatalities among the network's employees and its partners.

This is already the second strike on NOVUS's logistics center, through which goods were daily delivered to the chain's stores. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, and the aftermath of the fire is being addressed at the site.

The company has begun redistributing inventory among other facilities. NOVUS assured that they are trying to maintain an uninterrupted supply of food and essential goods so that customers do not feel the effects of the center's shutdown.

The "Silpo" chain reported fires at two of its distribution centers. According to the latest data from the company, six workers were killed as a result of the attack. Representatives of the chain are in contact with the families of the deceased and are preparing to provide them with the necessary assistance.

Earlier, Current Ukraine reported on the destruction of Rozetka, Nova Poshta and Epicenter facilities during the same attack.
