Russian drones attacked Kyiv region, warehouses caught fire (Updated)

On the morning of August 12, Russian forces again attacked the Kyiv region with combat drones. In the Brovarsky district, warehouse buildings caught fire, and a man was injured.

The fire was reported by Victoria Ruban, spokesperson for the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Kyiv region. According to her, rescuers have already begun extinguishing the fire.

Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Timur Tkachenko specified that a 65-year-old man was injured in the attack. He sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.

The injured man is receiving necessary medical aid. There is currently no information about other victims.

Update: Telegram channels are reporting that a train belonging to a logistics company that delivers goods to Ukrainian and European hypermarket chains has been damaged; however, this information has not yet been confirmed.

There have been no new reports from the authorities regarding the consequences of the strikes on the Kyiv region.

Earlier in the morning, Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia. In the city, a shopping center and a private house were damaged, and about 1,200 consumers were left without electricity. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties there.
