Forced evacuation zone for children expanded in Dnipropetrovsk region

In Dnipropetrovsk region, forced evacuation of families with children has been announced from 16 more settlements in Mykolaivska, Petropavlivska, and Ukrainska communities of Synelnykivskyi district. Over the course of a month, 2,177 children must be evacuated from there. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Parents, guardians, or other legal representatives must leave with their children to safer territories. One month is allocated for the evacuation.

The National Police and charitable organizations help families organize the move. Routes are determined considering the current security situation.

Armored vehicles are used for evacuation

Due to the danger in the area, armored transport is involved for transporting people, and members of the evacuation teams work in personal protective equipment, including body armor.

Initially, evacuees are taken to transit centers. There, families can receive the necessary assistance, and if needed, they are assisted with further resettlement in safer regions.

The decision concerns families with minor children. In total, from 16 settlements in three communities, 2,177 boys and girls must be evacuated.
