After 60, individuals will be removed from military registration without applying to the TCR - Ministry of Defense changes the procedure

Ukrainians who have reached the maximum age for being in the reserve no longer need to personally apply to the territorial recruitment and social support center to be removed from military registration. The procedure will be automated through the 'Oberih' register.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this.

The 'Oberih' register will check citizens' date of birth and military rank daily. After reaching the maximum age established by law, the system will automatically remove a person from military registration.

For most conscripts and reservists, the maximum age is 60 years. For senior officers, it is 65 years.

Booking and deferment will be automatically canceled

After removal from military registration, any deferment from mobilization or booking a person has will also be automatically canceled.

The 'Reserve+' application will notify the user about the status change. After updating the electronic military registration document, the status 'Excluded' should appear in it.

If the status has not changed after reaching the maximum age, the Ministry of Defense advises to re-authorize in 'Reserve+' and update the military registration document. If this does not help, then it is necessary to contact the TCR and SP to check the information in the register.

Old violations are not annulled

Automatic removal from military registration does not cancel violations of military registration rules that were recorded previously. Such cases must be resolved separately.

The government provided for the automation of the procedure earlier. In September 2025, on the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the procedure for keeping military records, providing for automation of procedures for citizens who have reached the maximum age in the reserve. Now the Ministry of Defense has described the practical mechanism by which 'Oberih' will perform the check directly.
