JSC Ukrposhta changed the order of customer service in city branches with two or more service windows starting September 23. Parcel intake has been given top priority, followed by parcel delivery.

Customers who come to send or receive a parcel need to inform a branch employee. Depending on the workload, the operator will direct them to the appropriate window and manage the queue.

According to Ukrposhta CEO Igor Smelyansky, over 90% of the company's city branches with more than one service window have already received the new instructions. The previously launched express windows will also operate under this principle.

The company explained the changes by the need to transfer items into the logistics network faster. Due to air raid alerts, branch operations may be interrupted, and a delay in parcel intake could push shipping to the next day.

Meanwhile, customers who come for pension and social benefits, utility payments, or other services will continue to be served. The company notes that the division of flows should allow accelerating parcel processing while not blocking other operations.

The new order complements express windows for short postal operations launched in September. In addition, Ukrposhta is expanding its network of self-service parcel lockers, allowing parcels that do not require payment upon delivery to be picked up without operator involvement.
