"Ukrzaliznytsia" reported massive train delays due to Russian attacks
After the Russian attacks on August 27, massive delays of passenger trains occurred across Ukraine. The list of "Ukrzaliznytsia" includes almost 100 trains that deviated from the schedule due to the impact of hostilities. The largest delay exceeds 15 hours, and dozens of trains are running three to six hours or more behind schedule.
The most difficult situation as of midday is with train No. 775/776 Sumy - Kyiv, which is delayed by 15 hours 37 minutes.
Train No. 93/94 Kharkiv - Chelm is running 9 hours 5 minutes late, No. 83/84 Dnipro - Mukachevo is 7 hours 13 minutes late, and No. 7/8 Kharkiv - Odesa is 7 hours 8 minutes late.
Several other trains from Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kharkiv are behind schedule by more than six hours.

Significant delays are also observed in the opposite direction. Trains Chelm - Dnipro and Lviv - Dnipro are 6 hours 9 minutes late, Kyiv - Kryvyi Rih is 6 hours 13 minutes late, and Odesa - Kyiv is 5 hours 42 minutes late.
Trains Dnipro - Lviv, Kyiv - Mykolaiv, Uzhhorod - Kharkiv and Odesa - Zhytomyr are also more than five hours behind schedule.
International routes delayed as well
The disruptions affected not only domestic routes. The largest delay among international trains is for Kharkiv - Chelm, which is more than nine hours late.
Dnipro - Chelm is behind schedule by 6 hours 40 minutes, Chelm - Dnipro by 6 hours 9 minutes, and Chelm - Kharkiv by 3 hours 25 minutes.
Delays also affect services between Kyiv and Chelm, Warsaw, Przemysl, Bucharest and Vienna. In particular, Warsaw - Kyiv and Chelm - Kyiv are about 1 hour 43 minutes late, while Kyiv - Warsaw is 1 hour 42 minutes behind.
Reason: impact of hostilities
In the operational delays table, "Ukrzaliznytsia" lists the impact of hostilities as the reason for deviations from the schedule. The delays covered routes through Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Lviv, Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, Zakarpattia and other regions.
Some trains that usually form subsequent services after arrival may also depart late due to rolling stock turnaround delays.
Ukrzaliznytsia warns that estimated arrival and departure times are indicative and may change. Passengers are advised to check their specific train shortly before departure.
