What is the fuel coefficient?

The fuel coefficient reflects changes in the cost of diesel fuel and can be used when calculating prices for transport, delivery, logistics and other vehicle-based services.

How is the fuel coefficient calculated?

The formula is: Fuel coefficient = Current fuel index ÷ Base fuel index. If the current fuel index is higher than the base fuel index at the end of the reporting month, the coefficient can be applied to the relevant calculation.

The current fuel index is the average price of diesel fuel in Ukraine during the relevant reporting month.

What is the base fuel index?

The base fuel index is the average price of diesel fuel in Ukraine on the last business day of the calendar month immediately preceding the month in which the service is provided.
