Trump said he heard about the resonant videos of forceful mobilization in Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is aware of videos circulating on social media from Ukraine, in which, according to a journalist, men are forcibly taken during mobilization activities. At the same time, the American president did not specify whether he personally watched these recordings, nor did he give an assessment of the legality of the actions of Ukrainian military and law enforcement officers.

Trump said this on September 2 during a conversation with journalists after a meeting with representatives of the American tourism industry at the White House.

One of the journalists stated that there is a shortage of young men in Ukraine and drew the president's attention to videos where people are allegedly forcibly taken from the streets. He also claimed that during such incidents, relatives of the men are pushed away or special means are used against them.

The journalist asked Trump whether he had seen these recordings and offered to pass them to White House staff.

"I know about these videos. I've heard a lot about them", - replied the U.S. president.

He also agreed to receive the recordings and said he might publish them.

After that, the U.S. president shifted the conversation to the course of the Russian-Ukrainian war and once again stated that, in his opinion, it would not have started if he had remained president after the 2020 election.

Trump also repeated his assessment that about 25,000 military personnel from both sides die every month in the war. He did not name the sources of this figure. According to the American president, many Ukrainians and Russians are among the dead, and RF losses may be higher due to the offensive actions of its army.

The American president once again called for an end to the war and said he continues to contact both sides.
