RF damaged the Coca-Cola plant near Kyiv for the second time since the start of the full-scale war

The Russian attack on September 3 damaged the Coca-Cola production complex in Velyka Dymerka, Brovary district, Kyiv region. A fire broke out on the enterprise territory, warehouse premises were damaged. The company's employees were not injured.

The damage to the plant was reported by the State Emergency Service (DSNS). Later, Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine also confirmed that the company's production facility was damaged as a result of a drone attack.

The company emphasized that all employees are safe. There is no information yet about the scale of losses, damage to production lines, or the possible impact of the attack on product output.

The plant in Velyka Dymerka is the main production site of Coca-Cola in Ukraine and one of the company's large enterprises in Europe. Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Fuze Tea, Rich juices, Burn energy drinks and other products are produced here.

The plant was already damaged by Russian troops in 2022

This is not the first case of damage to the enterprise since the beginning of the full-scale war.

At the start of the Russian invasion, Velyka Dymerka came under occupation. The plant's operations were halted, and the enterprise itself suffered damage due to hostilities.

After the liberation of Kyiv region, the company began restoration work. The plant's production capacities were restarted in early May 2022, after which the enterprise gradually returned to work.

Thus, the current attack became at least the second case of damage to the key production site of Coca-Cola in Ukraine during the full-scale war.
