Russia twice attacked Teva pharmaceutical company warehouse in a day

The warehouse of the pharmaceutical company "Teva in Ukraine" was hit twice on September 3 as a result of a Russian attack. There were no casualties among employees, but the company is assessing the damage and possible impact on supplies of medicines.

This was reported by Teva in Ukraine.

"Today, the Teva warehouse in Ukraine was hit twice as a result of a Russian attack. The most important thing is that all our colleagues are safe, no one was injured," the company said.

Teva noted that at this time they are primarily supporting employees who have been directly affected by the consequences of the attack and providing them with the necessary assistance.

At the same time, the company continues its operational activities and is assessing the damage to the warehouse.

Company trying to prevent drug supply problems

One of the main tasks after the attack, according to Teva, is to maintain supplies of drugs to Ukrainian patients.

"Millions of people need our drugs, and for many regular treatment is a daily necessity," the company emphasized.

Teva said it is taking measures to minimize possible impact of damage to warehouse infrastructure on supplies.

"We are assessing the consequences of the attack and doing everything possible to minimize the impact on supplies and ensure that Ukrainian patients continue to have access to the medicines they need," the statement says.

The company has not yet reported on possible losses of inventories, extent of warehouse destruction, or timelines for full logistics recovery.

Teva is one of the large international manufacturers of generic and other medicines and has been working in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market for many years.
