Russia attacked industrial and transport facilities in several regions

On the night of September 25 and in the morning, Russian troops struck industrial, logistics, and transport facilities in several regions of Ukraine. Damage was recorded to railway infrastructure, a postal terminal, warehouses, and a wood processing plant.

In Poltava district, a drone hit a railway infrastructure object. According to preliminary information from the Poltava Regional Military Administration, no people were injured. Data on the scale of damage and the impact of the strike on railway operations have not yet been released.

In Zhytomyr region, Russian troops attacked transport infrastructure facilities. Fires broke out at the impact sites, which rescuers contained. Regional authorities reported no information about deaths or injuries.

In Odesa region, logistics infrastructure came under fire. According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the building of a postal terminal, which had previously been attacked by Russia, was damaged, as well as warehouse premises. A fire broke out at one of the facilities. As a result of the attack in the region, a woman died, and one man was injured.

In Kyiv region, the Russian attack affected two commercial facilities. In Boryspil district, a wood processing plant caught fire after the hit, where rescuers dismantled and doused damaged structures. In Brovary district, a warehouse building was damaged. According to preliminary data from the State Emergency Service, there were no injuries.

In Zaporizhzhia, as a result of the morning drone attack, a medical facility was damaged. Rescuers evacuated seven patients and extinguished a fire in one of the departments. Damage was also recorded at other facilities in the city. Two people were injured.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, according to regional authorities, infrastructure was damaged in Kryvyi Rih. In Nikopol district, as a result of Russian attacks, commercial facilities also sustained damage.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that during the night attack, Russian troops deliberately targeted enterprises and logistics facilities. The Russian agency asserts that in Boryspil, a site of the company Fire Point for assembling and storing drones was hit, and in Odesa region, two logistics centers in Odesa and Nerubaiske, port infrastructure, and three storage facilities in the port of Reni. In addition, Moscow claimed a strike on a dry cargo vessel that allegedly was transporting military and dual-use cargo to Odesa. The Ukrainian side at the time of publication had not confirmed these claims regarding the purpose of the hit facilities and cargo.
