Revenue of agricultural companies increased by 19%, but their profit decreased

Ukrainian agricultural companies significantly increased revenue in the first half of 2026, but their total net profit decreased. Among the enterprises whose financial indicators are comparable to last year, 66% remained profitable.

This is stated in the research by Opendatabot.

To compare financial results, analysts selected 5,389 agricultural companies that submitted reports both for the first half of 2025 and for the same period of 2026.

Their total revenue for the year increased by 19% – from UAH 375.79 billion to UAH 448.35 billion.

At the same time, the number of profitable companies decreased by 8%, and the number of unprofitable ones increased. The total net profit of agricultural companies amounted to UAH 66.1 billion, which is 19% less than in the first half of last year.

In total, about 5,800 agricultural companies filed financial statements for the first six months of 2026 – 6% fewer than a year earlier.

The largest revenue among the reporting companies was received by "Vinnytsia Poultry Farm" – UAH 37.47 billion. Its revenue for the year increased by almost 40%, or by UAH 10.66 billion. At the same time, the company ended the half-year with a loss of UAH 2.26 billion.

The second highest revenue was "Myronivska Poultry Farm" with UAH 16.35 billion, the third – "Lebedyn Seed Plant" with UAH 13.37 billion.

The top ten also included "Druzhba-Nova" – UAH 5.66 billion, "Zernoproduct MHP" – UAH 5.19 billion, "Oril-Leader" – UAH 5.11 billion, "Enselco Agro" – UAH 4.99 billion, "Starynska Poultry Farm" – UAH 4.35 billion, "Bayer Seeds" – UAH 4.11 billion and "Interbusiness" – UAH 3.92 billion.

The fastest revenue growth among large companies was shown by "Interbusiness" – by 171%, to UAH 3.92 billion. "Podillia" PC increased revenue by 141%, "Enselco Agro" – by 128%, and "Zakhidnyi Buh" – by 112%.

Among financial-industrial groups, the largest total revenue of agricultural companies in the first half of the year was shown by MHP – UAH 73.79 billion. This is 25.7% more than a year earlier.

"Kernel" came second with UAH 19.11 billion, followed by SP Advisors with UAH 17.82 billion, "Agroprosperis" with UAH 7.12 billion and "Epicenter" with UAH 6.39 billion.

At the same time, the total number of agricultural companies in Ukraine continues to grow. As of September, there were 82,954 active companies in the agricultural sector in the Unified State Register.

In January-August 2026, 853 new agricultural companies were registered, while 262 ceased operations. Thus, for every closed company, there were more than three new ones.
