Kyiv has ordered the restoration of the Wedding Palace for almost 280 million UAH

The Department of Administrative Services Provision of the KMDA has ordered the restoration of the Wedding Palace on Beresteiskyi Avenue in Kyiv for 279.58 million UAH. The works will be financed from the city budget and must be completed by the end of July 2028.

This is reported by "Nashi Groshi" with reference to data from the Prozorro system. The contract was signed on September 24 with LLC "Restoration-Architectural-Renovation Construction Association "Ukraine-Restavratsiya".

The project provides for the restoration and adaptation for modern use of the Palace of Ceremonial Events at 11 Beresteiskyi Avenue, which has the status of a newly discovered object of cultural heritage in the style of neo-modernism.

The contractor must restore the facade, arrange the stylobate, elevators, glass partitions and stained-glass windows, update the ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems. Works on electricity supply, fire protection, communication and security, installation of multimedia systems, landscaping and greening of the territory are also planned.

Of the total contract value, 48.9 million UAH is planned to be financed in 2026, 147 million UAH - in 2027, and another 83.68 million UAH - in 2028. The contract price is dynamic and includes 6.23 million UAH for inflation compensation.

About 31.67 million UAH of the estimate is for glass partitions and stained-glass windows. "Nashi Groshi" notes that the prices for these structures are difficult to compare directly with market prices, since they include materials, design and installation at once. At the same time, the cost of basic building materials, which the journalists managed to check, mostly corresponded to the market price or was lower.

The contractor received the order without competition - no other participant submitted a bid for the open tender. To confirm its experience, "Ukraine-Restavratsiya" provided a contract with the National Museum "Chornobyl" for restoration works.

The company "Ukraine-Restavratsiya" was registered in 2023, its founder and director is Vasyl Haidei. The firm received its first state contract only in February 2026 - also for works at the National Museum "Chornobyl".
