Russia strikes enterprises and energy infrastructure in Zhytomyr region: seven facilities damaged

On the evening of September 29 and the night of September 30, Russian forces attacked industrial and energy facilities in Zhytomyr region. A total of seven facilities were damaged in Zhytomyr, Korosten, and Zviahel communities.

According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, food processing and recycling industry enterprises, as well as energy facilities, came under attack.

The State Emergency Service clarified that damage and fires were recorded at critical infrastructure facilities and private enterprise areas in Korosten, Zhytomyr, and Zviahel districts.

Additionally, four passenger cars were destroyed by fire as a result of the attack. The fires that broke out after the strikes were extinguished by rescuers.

After finishing firefighting, specialists also inspected the areas for explosive devices. Rescuers, other special services, and psychologists of the State Emergency Service worked at the scenes, providing assistance to local residents.
