The Verkhovna Rada wants to be assembled additionally for voting on draft laws critical for obtaining financial aid

The Cabinet of Ministers is working with the Verkhovna Rada to make Monday, October 12, a session day in order to vote on the draft laws needed to receive funds from international partners, according to Економічна правда.

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky said this during a conversation with journalists.

The government promises to fulfill all its obligations to international partners by October 15. This refers to resolutions and government decisions.

This will secure a certain portion of the necessary financing, while the rest requires the adoption of laws by the Verkhovna Rada.

"Budget expenditures are tied to specific deadlines: salaries must be paid monthly, and accordingly, revenues must come in on time. We have passed on specific deadlines to the deputies. For each necessary decision, there is a date by which the law must be voted on and signed so that we have time to receive the necessary funds. Our partners have their own approval and fund allocation procedures, and they require time. For Ukraine, there is currently very little of this time", noted Koretsky.
