"Kyivstar" raises the cost of some tariffs from October 8

Mobile operator "Kyivstar" will change the cost of tariffs for some subscribers from October 8, 2026. The company explains the revision by rising costs for network maintenance and restoration.

This is stated in a message from Kyivstar. The operator notes that fuel, equipment, and other resources are becoming more expensive, and under the conditions of a full-scale war, additional costs and more complex logistics are needed to maintain stable communication.

The company also continues to invest in network energy resilience and backup power for equipment so that communication works during power outages.

Which tariff plans will become more expensive and what the new cost will be, Kyivstar did not specify in the general message. The operator promises to notify affected subscribers in advance via SMS.

Along with the updated terms, users will be offered additional opportunities. Individual offers for a specific number can be viewed in the "My Kyivstar" app.

If the new terms do not suit the subscriber, they will be able to switch to another tariff from the current lineup. The company also reminds about the possibility of terminating the contract early in accordance with the legislation.

Kyivstar has previously reviewed certain tariff offers against the backdrop of rising network maintenance costs. At the same time, the current update does not apply to all customers - the operator will communicate specific terms personally.
