Ukrainian Defense Tech company M-Fly has attracted a new round of investments to expand production of laser guidance systems and gyro-stabilized optical systems for unmanned platforms. The funding amount and company valuation are not disclosed.

This is reported by AIN.UA citing MITS Capital.

The round was led by the company's current investor MITS Capital. Freedom Fund reinvested in M-Fly, and new participants include Norwegian Defense Tech fund Gardar and one more investor whose name is not disclosed.

The company plans to use the raised funds to increase production capacity and accelerate adaptation of its developments to new platforms. M-Fly notes growing demand from both Ukrainian customers and partners from NATO countries.

M-Fly develops laser guidance systems and high-precision gyro-stabilized modules for air, sea and ground drones. In particular, its technologies enable laser target designation, determine range and coordinates of targets, and stabilize optical systems during motion.

The company's portfolio includes laser guidance systems RB-150CW and Seeker, as well as several types of gyro-stabilized modules. RB-220 is designed for large UAVs, manned aviation, helicopters and maritime platforms, while RB-150GD is equipped with day and thermal imaging channels for medium-class drones.

Separately, M-Fly is developing a marine version RB-150 Marine. In the first quarter of 2027, the company also plans to introduce a compact RB-100 for small drones.

According to M-Fly founder and CEO Vladyslav Myhovych, over the past 12 months the company has doubled its team and increased revenue several times. Since the beginning of 2026, demand for its products is additionally supported by the spread of interceptor drones and the need for cheaper reconnaissance UAVs with quality surveillance systems.

The company strives to produce as many key components as possible in-house – from motors, cameras and lenses to software. According to M-Fly, the share of Chinese components in its products is less than 6%.

By mid-2026, M-Fly had already raised about $1.4 million in seed investments, BRAVE1 grants and venture financing in total. MITS Capital also lists the company among the graduates of its acceleration program with funding raised at this level.

M-Fly was founded in 2023 on the basis of a volunteer project aimed at the needs of the Ukrainian military. The company specializes in optical and laser systems for unmanned platforms.
