Emergency power outages introduced in Kyiv

Emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv on the evening of September 30. Restrictions are being applied at the command of NPC Ukrenergo.

This was reported by the press service of DTEK.

During emergency outages, pre-compiled hourly schedules are not in effect. Therefore, it is impossible to determine the exact time of disconnection and restoration of power supply for a specific address during this period.

Restrictions are being introduced amid a difficult situation in the energy system. According to Ukrenergo, the energy system continues to recover after Russian missile and drone attacks, and repair work on damaged energy facilities is ongoing.

Furthermore, on September 30, electricity consumption in Ukraine increased: in the morning it was 8.5% higher than in the same period the previous day. Ukrenergo associated the increase in consumption with cloudy and rainy weather, which reduced the efficiency of household solar power plants.

DTEK urged to monitor the company's official communications. After the cancellation of emergency restrictions or changes in the power supply regime, energy workers promise to separately inform consumers.
