The exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday, October 1, 2026

The dollar exchange rate, compared to September 30, decreased to 44.6819 per 1 dollar.

The euro fell by 21 kopecks to 50.7166 per 1 euro.

The pound sterling rate decreased to 59.3715 per 1 pound sterling.

The Swiss franc fell by 31 kopecks to 53.5343 per 1 Swiss franc.

The Polish zloty rate dropped to 11.6125 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the exchange rate from 15:00 to 16:00, the rate takes effect the next day. Also at 12:00, the NBU publishes the reference value of the exchange rate, which serves as a guide for what to expect at 15:00. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day apply.

The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia by conducting foreign exchange interventions and does not allow significant exchange rate fluctuations.
