Preparation for winter: Odesa ordered dozens of backup boiler houses for almost 730 million UAH

Municipal enterprise "Heat Supply of Odesa City" concluded 43 agreements for the design and construction of backup block-modular boiler houses with a total cost of 729.59 million UAH. Some of the funds have already been advanced to contractors.

This is reported by "Nashi Groshi" with reference to data from "Prozorro" and the Spending portal. The contracts were signed on September 18-22, and the contractors must complete the construction of the boiler houses by the end of 2026.

The largest volume of orders was received by Kharkiv-based LLC "Energoteplo" - for 435.57 million UAH, or about 60% of the total amount. "Odesagrogaz" concluded agreements for 113.08 million UAH, "Metronom" - for 66.92 million UAH, "KB Teploenergo" - for 43.50 million UAH, "BC Profi Stroy" - for 43.38 million UAH, and "Construction Technologies 2000" - for 27.15 million UAH.

Moreover, on September 25-28, "Heat Supply of Odesa City" already transferred a total of 207.63 million UAH in advance payments to six contractors. The largest amount was received by "Energoteplo" - 100.87 million UAH.

The construction will be financed from the reserve fund of the state budget, a state subvention to the budget of Odesa region, and the local budget of Odesa district.

The procurement was conducted without the use of the electronic system. This procedure is stipulated by special rules for the procurement of boiler houses and related works necessary for the prevention or liquidation of emergency situations within the approved resilience plans of regions and cities.

At the same time, open data do not contain complete information about manufacturers, models, capacity and configuration of the boiler houses, as well as all payment terms under the agreements.
