Hourly power outages and power limitation for industry planned for October 1 are currently not applied in Ukraine. At the same time, after new Russian strikes, there are power cuts in five regions. This was reported by "Ukrenergo".

The day before, the company warned that on October 1, hourly outage schedules might be introduced in some regions in the morning and evening hours. This was written by Kurs Ukraine.

However, as of Thursday morning, the predicted restrictions did not have to be introduced. At the same time, "Ukrenergo" emphasizes that the situation in the energy system may change during the day.

After Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, new power cuts were recorded in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Rivne, and Kirovohrad regions. Where the security situation allows, emergency restoration work is already underway.

Separately, energy workers urged residents of Kyiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions to use electricity sparingly in the evening. Powerful electrical appliances are recommended not to be used from 17:00 to 22:00, in order not to overload equipment damaged by shelling and to reduce the risk of forced restrictions.

Electricity consumption has increased at the same time. As of 09:30 on October 1, it was 2.1% higher than at the same time the day before. Ukrenergo explains this by cloudy weather in some south-eastern regions, which reduced the efficiency of household solar power plants.

Therefore, the active use of powerful equipment today is recommended to be postponed to the period from 10:00 to 16:00, when industrial solar power plants work most efficiently.
