Nine industrial parks to receive over half a billion hryvnias of state support
In 2026, the state has already approved financing for the development of infrastructure of nine industrial parks for a total of UAH 557 million. Two more applications for UAH 120 million are to be considered soon.
This was announced by MP, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Kysylevskyi following a meeting with initiators and management companies of industrial parks in Zakarpattia. According to him, the relevant financing decisions were made by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
Among the nine parks that have already received state support decisions are Zakarpattia industrial parks "Tiachiv" and "Friendly Windtechnology".
The next could be industrial parks "Uzhhorod" and "Khust": their applications for state funding totaling UAH 120 million are being prepared for consideration.
State funds for the development of industrial infrastructure are provided on a 50-50 co-financing basis. The support recipient also undertakes to build at least 5,000 square meters of industrial space and attract at least two participants to the industrial park.
According to Kysylevskyi, before the full-scale war, only one industrial park operated in Zakarpattia, while now there are 12. Another three sites are preparing to submit documents for inclusion in the register by the end of 2026.
On the territory of the region's industrial parks, 13 plants have already been built or are under construction, providing jobs for about 2,000 people. New productions, in particular, are being launched in the parks of Uzhhorod, Khust, and Svaliava.
In total, by the beginning of autumn, more than 120 industrial parks were registered in Ukraine, about 40 of them were already in an active stage of development. According to Kysylevskyi's estimate, by the beginning of 2026, the volume of investments in such sites was approaching UAH 46 billion.
