On Friday, October 2, the interbank foreign exchange market shows a balance of supply and demand. Deals in the first half of the trading session are moving in a narrow range of 44.96–45.00 UAH. According to analysts of the “Exchange Rate of Ukraine” portal, there are two reasons for this.

First, on FOREX the dollar has stabilized after yesterday's sharp rise and even began to weaken against other major world currencies. This also affected sentiment on the Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market.

Second, the psychological level of 45 UAH continues to “work”: most currency buyers are not ready to buy more expensive. This is also seen from the decrease in transaction volumes in the Bloomberg trading system. The euro on the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine on Friday is trading in the range of 50.58–50.67 UAH on the bid side — approximately at the same level as yesterday. On the international currency market FOREX, the euro is trying to correct after yesterday's fall and by the time of writing had already risen to 1.1269 dollars.

Cash dollar price tags have also stopped rising. Both yesterday and today in Kyiv, wholesale exchange offices in Kyiv sell dollars at 44.83–44.86 UAH. At the same time, according to cash market operators, demand has started to fall, and there is a shortage of hryvnia. In Chernivtsi, the dollar is sold at 44.85 UAH, in Odesa at 44.95 UAH, in Kharkiv at exactly 45.00 UAH, in Dnipro and Poltava at exactly 45.05 UAH.

Ukrainian banks by 1:00 PM sell dollars at prices from 44.95 UAH at Trust Capital Bank to 45.58 UAH at Zaporizhzhia Metbank. Regarding the euro, it can currently be bought cheapest at 50.85 UAH at Oxy Bank.

Oil prices have stopped rising and are trying to decline, though with limited success. The popular Brent grade today fell to 98.94 dollars per barrel and is currently trading in the range of $99.65–100.10 per barrel.

On crypto exchanges, there is another attempt by major cryptocurrencies to rise. Thus, Bitcoin (BTC) on the most popular crypto exchange Binance rose in price to $86,912.75 per coin, and Ethereum (ETH) to $2,777.33 per coin. At the moment, Bitcoin is trading in the range of $86,150–86,330 per coin, and Ethereum (ETH) at $2,735–2,750 per coin.
