Passport services of the SMS resume work after failure: no need to queue again
The State Migration Service plans to complete work on restoring the full and stable operation of its information systems after a technical malfunction by the end of October 2.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the data in the "Electronic queue" service should be fully restored, preserving the order that was in effect before the suspension of the systems. Ukrainians who have already registered for an appointment do not need to re-register.
The issuance of already produced passport documents in Ukraine and abroad continues. At the same time, men of draft age outside Ukraine are issued ready passports subject to having a valid military registration document, including relevant data in the "Reserve+" application.
Problems with the services arose due to a technical malfunction of the equipment of the electronic communications operator. Because of this, access to a part of the information and telecommunication systems of the SMS was limited, and from September 28 to 30, the service temporarily did not provide passport document processing services. Also, during the restoration work, the official SMS website was down.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that it will notify separately after the full restoration of the systems. At the same time, to receive an already produced passport, there is no need to register in the electronic queue.
