Exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Monday, October 5, 2026

The dollar rate, compared to October 4, reached 44.9857 per 1 dollar.

The euro fell by 16 kopecks to 50.5333 per 1 euro.

The pound sterling rose by 3 kopecks to 59.4068 per 1 pound sterling.

The Swiss franc rose by 76 kopecks to 54.4325 per 1 Swiss franc.

The Polish zloty rate fell by 5 kopecks to 11.5442 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the rate from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and the rate takes effect the next day. Also at 12:00 PM, the NBU publishes a reference value of the rate, which serves as an indicator of what to expect at 3:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day apply.

The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia by conducting currency interventions and does not allow significant fluctuations in the exchange rate.
