In the first half of the trading session on Tuesday, October 6, on the interbank currency market, there is a balance of supply and demand. Trading is taking place in a narrow range of 45.00-45.057 UAH.

According to the portal "Ukraine's Exchange Rate", the main reason why the dollar stopped rising on the interbank market is the correction that began on the FOREX market, where the dollar has been declining against the euro and the British pound since Tuesday morning. Recall that yesterday a new historical high for the dollar was set on the interbank market – 45.095 UAH on the "bid" position, and the NBU for the first time in history set the official dollar exchange rate for October 6 above 45 UAH.

The euro on the interbank currency market of Ukraine on Tuesday is trading in the range of 50.45-50.57 UAH on the "bid" position - about 7-15 kopecks more expensive than yesterday's prices. On the international currency market FOREX today the euro is making attempts to grow and has already risen to 1.12429 dollars. Price tags for the cash dollar on Tuesday are growing everywhere except Kyiv.

Both yesterday and today, wholesale exchange offices in Kyiv sell dollars at 44.88-44.90 UAH (though today buying cheaper than 44.90 UAH has become much more difficult). In other cities, the dollar is already more expensive than 45 UAH. For example, in Mykolaiv and Odesa, the dollar is sold today at 45.05 UAH, and in Poltava and Lutsk – at 45.10 UAH.

Ukrainian banks by 11:30 sell the dollar at prices from 45.02 UAH in the western branches of Bank Lviv to Trust Capital Bank to 45.65 UAH in Zaporizhzhia's Metabank. As for the euro, at the moment it can be bought cheapest at 50.70 UAH in Ukrgasbank. As we can see, today the euro is already slightly more expensive than yesterday's minimums, but this is rather due to the fall of the hryvnia than to the growth of the euro itself in the world.
