The German-Ukrainian joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) has signed a new contract with the National Guard of Ukraine for the production and supply of Ukrainian-designed drones. This was reported by AIN, citing the company.

The contract provides for the delivery in 2027 of two types of drones developed by Ukraine's Frontline Robotics: the strike-logistics "Linza 3.0" and the reconnaissance "Zoom 3.0".

The systems will be produced at Quantum Frontline Industries' facilities in Germany. The parties do not disclose the exact number of drones ordered, noting only that the supply volume will be determined according to the current needs of the National Guard.

In 2027, the enterprise plans to further increase production capacity and move from the scaling phase to stable serial production of Ukrainian unmanned systems.

QFI explains that the expansion of the program aims to create a scalable industrial base in Europe for the production of drones developed in Ukraine.

"Linza 3.0" is a multi-purpose drone intended, in particular, for strike and logistics missions under conditions of intense electronic warfare activity. The drone can carry up to 4 kg of payload over a distance of up to 15 km and stay airborne for up to 60 minutes.

"Zoom 3.0" is designed for reconnaissance, target acquisition, determining coordinates, and fire adjustment. Its tactical radius reaches 20 km, and flight endurance is up to 60 minutes.

The reconnaissance drone is also equipped with a navigation system using artificial intelligence and can operate autonomously in the target area. According to the developers, this allows continued reconnaissance even when standard communication channels are disrupted.

Quantum Frontline Industries was established by Ukraine's Frontline Robotics and Germany's Quantum Systems within the framework of the government initiative "Build with Ukraine". The enterprise became the first joint German-Ukrainian project that launched industrial production of Ukrainian drones in Europe.

The companies announced the creation of QFI in December 2025. At that time, partners stated that systems produced in Germany would be supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In February 2026, the first "Linza 3.0" was manufactured at the enterprise and handed over to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a visit to the production site. QFI then reported that within a year the facilities would allow production of up to 10,000 drones.

In April, the company sent the first batch of German-made "Linzas" to Ukraine and announced a transition to stable serial production.

In early October, Frontline Robotics' Business Development Director Mykyta Rozhkov told AIN that the German platform QFI already produces about 100 drones per day. At the same time, Frontline Robotics' Ukrainian production continues to operate in parallel.

Thus, the new contract with the National Guard expands the model in which Ukrainian combat developments are scaled up at European production facilities and finished systems are supplied back to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
