Russia attacked an enterprise in Rivne region and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv region
On the morning of October 8, Russian troops launched new strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine. In Rivne region, an enterprise was damaged, where a fire broke out. In the Lozova community of Kharkiv region, a critical infrastructure facility came under attack.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported on the consequences of the strike in Rivne region.
According to him, during the morning attack, one of the civilian enterprises of the region was damaged. A fire broke out on the territory of the facility, and relevant services were involved in eliminating the consequences.
According to preliminary data, there were no injuries. The regional authorities have not yet specified the name of the enterprise, the nature of its activities, or the scale of the damage.
Meanwhile, in the Lozova community of Kharkiv region, Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility in one of the starosta districts.

As a result of the attack, significant smoke and fire occurred. Rescuers are working on the spot to extinguish the fire.
According to local authorities, there are no fatalities. Residents of the community were also informed that there is no threat to their lives. Information about the scale of destruction and possible disruptions in the operation of the infrastructure facility has not yet been made public.
The day before, on October 7, the Lozova community already suffered a massive Russian shelling. At that time, industrial and critical infrastructure facilities were hit, and educational, medical institutions, and residential buildings were damaged.
Due to the consequences of the previous attack, part of the community was left without electricity. The operation of critical infrastructure and water supply was ensured with the help of alternative power sources and generators.
