Ukrainian outerwear manufacturer Mangelo reported significant destruction of its production in Kharkiv as a result of a Russian strike. The hit directly targeted the company's sewing workshop. Among the employees there are dead and wounded, and the company has lost almost all production property.

Representatives of Mangelo reported this on the official brand page on Instagram.

According to the company, the strike occurred several days ago. As a result of the attack, people who worked at the enterprise died, and many employees were injured. Among the injured are production workers, team members, and management.

Some of the wounded are still in hospitals. The company did not name the exact number of dead and injured.

Mangelo noted that the consequences of the attack turned out to be extremely severe not only for the team but also for the enterprise itself. According to a preliminary estimate, the manufacturer has lost almost all equipment and property used in production.

The company cannot yet establish the final scale of the losses. It is unknown how much finished products and materials have been destroyed, what part of the inventory has been preserved, and what condition the workshop premises are in.

Besides production capacities, the enterprise has lost means of communication and information necessary for working with clients. According to brand representatives, only now has it been possible to partially restore communication with the outside world.

Due to the consequences of the shelling, Mangelo is temporarily unable to fulfill some orders. In particular, there are unsent purchases, unresolved refund issues, and unfulfilled obligations to wholesale partners.

The company assured that all orders that can be fulfilled will be sent to customers, and money will be returned for products that cannot be manufactured or delivered. At the same time, due to personnel losses and production destruction, the exact deadlines for fulfilling these obligations are currently unknown.

Mangelo representatives asked clients and partners to treat the situation with understanding and give the team the time needed to help the injured and gradually restore operations.

Mangelo is a Ukrainian outerwear brand founded in Kharkiv in 2011 as part of the premium line of the Alvio company. The enterprise specializes in the production of women's down jackets, jackets, coats, parkas, and sheepskin coats.

As stated on the brand's official website, the company provided a full production cycle - from developing models and selecting materials to sewing, quality control, and sale of finished products. Mangelo works with both retail customers and wholesale buyers, in particular through a dropshipping system.

Despite significant losses, the manufacturer does not plan to permanently cease operations. The team announced its intention to rebuild production capacities and return to fulfilling orders.

There is no concrete recovery plan or production launch timeline yet. The company emphasizes that the primary task remains helping injured employees and supporting the families of the dead.

Recall that on October 5, the State Emergency Service reported Russian airstrikes on civilian enterprises in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. As a result of guided aerial bombs, two large fires broke out - a warehouse and a production building were burning. According to updated data from rescuers that day, six people died and 59 were injured, including three children. At the same time, Mangelo did not specify the exact date of the strike on its workshop, so it is not currently confirmed that this is the same attack.
