In Odesa, Russian strike damaged a food warehouse
On the night of October 9, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on Odesa Oblast. In Odesa, a warehouse building where food products were stored was damaged. A fire broke out at the site. Infrastructure of recreation centers in the south of the region also came under attack.
The consequences of the attack were reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
In Odesa, the roof of a food warehouse was damaged as a result of the Russian strike. The impact caused a fire, and rescuers were involved in extinguishing it.
According to the SES, food products were stored in the warehouse. The name of the enterprise, the extent of the damage, and the possible losses of inventory have not yet been reported.
The Odesa OMA confirmed the damage to the warehouse as a result of the massive shelling. At the same time, there is currently no information about a possible impact of the attack on food supply.
In addition to the warehouse infrastructure, Russian troops attacked recreational business facilities in the south of Odesa Oblast. On the territory of one recreation center, administrative and utility buildings were damaged. A dry grass fire also broke out.
At another location, 11 small houses on the territory of recreation centers were damaged as a result of the shelling. In addition, a café building was completely destroyed.
Rescuers extinguished all fires that broke out as a result of the attack. According to official information, there are no deaths or injuries.
The final extent of material losses, including damage to the food warehouse and tourism infrastructure, is not yet being specified.
