Russian drones completely destroyed lubricant production in Kyiv region
Ukrainian enterprise "KSM-Protek", which specialized in the production of motor oils, lubricants and auto chemicals, completely lost its production capacity as a result of Russian drone attacks on 10 and 11 October. The company announced the suspension of production activities.
This is stated in the official message of the enterprise, published on its website.
According to the company, as a result of successive strikes by Russian drones, production and warehouse premises, technological equipment and infrastructure of the enterprise located in Kyiv region were completely destroyed.
The scale of the destruction led to the complete cessation of production of lubricants. The company noted that not only material assets were lost, but also the production base that had been formed over many years through investments, the work of specialists and the development of technological processes.
The consequences of the attacks affected the employees of the enterprise, its customers and business partners. At the same time, the company has not yet disclosed the cost of the destroyed equipment and the total amount of financial losses. There is also no information about possible terms of production recovery.
"KSM-Protek" worked on the Ukrainian lubricants market since 2011. The enterprise specialized in the manufacture of motor and transmission oils, hydraulic fluids, greases, antifreeze and other automotive and industrial chemicals.
Products were produced under the brands KSM, KSM Lubes, Protec, Temol, Enrol, S Power and Oil Doctor. In addition to its own brands, the company manufactured lubricants for third-party customers under their own trademarks.
According to YouControl, the enterprise was registered in Klavdiievo-Tarasove, Bucha district, Kyiv region. Its authorized capital is 550 thousand UAH.
The destruction of "KSM-Protek" production capacities was another case of Ukrainian business losing industrial infrastructure due to Russian strikes. In particular, on 20 September, as a result of a missile-drone attack, the main production and warehouse premises of the company "Ventilation Systems" in Boyarka, Kyiv region, were destroyed.
