The new week on the Ukrainian fuel market began with the rise in prices of most types of fuel. As of October 12, the average cost of autogas rose to 46.24 UAH per liter, A-95 gasoline to 89.36 UAH, and diesel fuel to 98.68 UAH. After Friday's decrease, the growth of premium gasoline prices resumed.

This is evidenced by the data of daily monitoring by the Consulting Group "A-95".

Autogas went up the most again. Compared to the last published snapshot for Friday, October 9, its average price increased by 75 kopecks per liter. At the same time, over the previous working week autogas added 1.44 UAH, and since the beginning of October its cost has already increased by 2.31 UAH.

The price growth spread to gasoline and diesel fuel as well. Regular A-95 went up by 19 kopecks, diesel by 20 kopecks. Premium A-95+ gasoline, after decreasing by 54 kopecks on Friday, added 59 kopecks and costs an average of 93.41 UAH/l. Only A-92 gasoline remained unchanged at 86.01 UAH/l.

Thus, autogas remains the main factor in the increase of average fuel prices. Since the beginning of the month, its rise has exceeded 5%, while prices for major gasoline brands and diesel changed much more slowly.

Prices at the eight largest gas station chains

Among major operators, the most noticeable increase was recorded in UKRNAFTA. Premium A-95+ gasoline in the chain has risen by 3 UAH per liter to 91.90 UAH, and autogas added 1.50 UAH and costs 44.90 UAH.

The SOCAR chain raised prices for four main types of fuel at once. Gasoline A-95, A-95+, diesel and autogas added 1 UAH per liter each. As a result, regular A-95 costs 95.90 UAH, and diesel fuel is 104 UAH/l.

In BRSM-Nafta, autogas went up by 1.10 UAH to 44.59 UAH/l. Prices for A-95 gasoline and diesel also rose. AMIC raised the price of autogas by 1.03 UAH, UPG by 1 UAH. At the same time, OKKO and WOG kept prices for all four main types of fuel at the previous level.

Among other operators, attention is drawn to the Marshal network, where diesel fuel went up by 1.83 UAH per liter to 99.90 UAH. Autogas in this network added 1.10 UAH and costs 45 UAH/l.

The difference in fuel prices between major networks remains significant. The most expensive A-95 gasoline among the eight operators is sold by SOCAR at 95.90 UAH/l, while in BRSM-Nafta its average price is 86.51 UAH. The difference reaches 9.39 UAH per liter, or almost 470 UAH on a 50-liter tank.

For diesel fuel, the largest gap is also between SOCAR and BRSM-Nafta at 7.62 UAH/l. Autogas is most expensive at WOG at 48.90 UAH, the cheapest among these networks at BRSM-Nafta at 44.59 UAH. The difference is 4.31 UAH per liter.

Recall that at the end of the last working week, autogas went up by 1.44 UAH per liter, with the largest increase occurring on Friday. Data for October 12 indicate the continuation of this trend, joined by a more noticeable rise in gasoline and diesel prices.
