In Kyiv on October 15, energy workers managed to stabilize the electricity supply situation after a massive Russian attack. The capital is returning to planned electricity outage schedules instead of emergency restrictions that were in effect for about a day.

This was announced by the energy company DTEK on its official Telegram channel.

According to the company, after restoration works were carried out, the situation in the capital's energy system was successfully stabilized. Now electricity will be switched off again according to established schedules, rather than in an emergency mode.

Kyiv residents can check the current schedule for their address using the DTEK chatbot, on the company's website, in the "Kyiv Digital" application, and also through YASNO services.

We remind you that on October 14, Russian troops launched massive strikes on Kyiv's energy infrastructure. All three of the capital's thermal power plants and other important energy facilities that provide the city with electricity were targeted.

Due to damage to the energy infrastructure, emergency outages were introduced in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, Solomyanskyi and parts of the Holosiivskyi districts through an emergency procedure. Later the restrictions spread to other parts of the capital, and stabilization schedules temporarily ceased to be applied.

Returning to schedules indicates the stabilization of electricity supply, but does not mean that all damage to the energy infrastructure from the shelling has been fully repaired.
